In case you haven't heard the news yet:
FUNimation announced on their blog that they've acquired the rights to season 1 of FMP! as well as Fumoffu?, and will be releasing both standard and bluray sets in 2010.
SO YAY UPSCALED BLURAY RELEASES!

Hey, EVERY FMPtard! Look over HERE! MANDALAY STUDIOS ACQUIRED THE THEATRICAL RIGHTS AND WILL DEVELOP A BIG-SCREEN, LIVE-ACTION VERSION OF FULL METAL PANIC! Read about it HERE. YAY! Maybe that will encourage Kyoto Animation and/or Gonzo to get off their behinds and animate a third (or fourth if you count Fumoffu) season, as well as Tokyopop and pick up their translating back! I want my light novels, damn it!
More than anything, though... my main concern is that the writer of this mini-article couldn't be more wrong about everything he said regarding FMP. There are only THREE teenagers in FMP: Sousuke, Tessa, and Kaname. Everyone else is a grown up! Oh, and GONZO got first dibs at FMP... Kyoto Animation followed with a sequel, and then GONZO took the helm again with TSR!
Though... well... I'll stay optimistic, though the chances that Hollywood WON'T butcher the storyline, the setting, and pretty much everything by "Americanizing" it seem pretty bleak from my point of view. Additionally, they're already talking about FMP as if it's made for kids in middle school. Apparently the writer of this article doesn't seem to realize that FMP only keeps getting darker and more violent. Chances are, the writer of this article probably just glanced at the ANN's BRIEF synopsis...
What a shame.... :-/
Update: I stand corrected. GONZO only did the first season of FMP. Kyoto Animation did Fumoffu and TSR. I'm a tard!

We are once again having issues with our hosting company being jerks and the service is out again now for another hour. I'm completely disgusted with the way I was treated by customer support today, so on that lovely note and the fact that I have money right now...we will be moving our main website and forums to a new hosting company very shortly. I have researched into many different companies, talked to their customers, did up-time analyses and found a few companies that are actually reliable like they claim to be.
I will definitely announce the transfer when it is time and it will only take one day for the complete transfer. Trust me, it will be worth it. Bear with us, it may be in and out throughout the day today. If you ever want hosting, don;t ever go with HostMonster...worst hosting company ever...worst customer service ever.

| Server Issues Again |

You may not have noticed as much as I have because I host more than just Jindai-High.com on the server, but we have been having an excessive amount of downtime due to someone who shares the server flooding the bandwidth. It's been going on now for months and I don't care for it. I just got off he phone with the hosting company and they will be migrating it to another server tonight, hopefully before tomorrow. I have backed up the entire site, and hopefully I won't have to use it.
Just bare with me here while this gets fixed. I'm slightly annoyed that I even had to complain about this. *eyeroll* |
